To meet our strategic growth plans and to strengthen our Purchasing Team we are looking for an additional full time Buyer to join our team
Job Description and Key Responsibilities
This is a busy and challenging position that requires a confident and enthusiastic team player to facilitate purchasing across multiple projects. The purchasing team work closely with the engineering design teams, the build team and senior management to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget; your duties will include:
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
You will be a key player in ensuring that project schedules are met, and therefore we are looking for somebody with a can-do attitude who is calm under pressure with a clear understanding of the timescale pressures that are frequently placed on Engineering Project Teams. You will have several years previous experience in a purchasing role, ideally in an engineering or technical manufacturing business or a project driven environment and will be educated to at least A Level, preferably higher. You will also need to demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
