As an essential part of our strategy to continually develop the skill base within our company, we are looking for an Engineering Graduate to join our team in 2011. The Opportunity This opportunity will ideally suit an engineer due to graduate in the summer of 2011. From day one you will be working within a team with real responsibilities and you will be encouraged to develop your technical skills through various on-the-job learning experiences. You will be supported by a small but hugely experienced multi-disciplined team of engineers. You will be expected to contribute ideas and become proactively involved in the development of new products from an early stage. Your main areas of responsibility will depend on whether you have a bias towards Mechanical or Electrical Engineering but will include Mechanical Design, 3D Modeling, Electrical Controls Design, Robot Simulation, PLC Software Design, HMI and Robot programming, Commissioning, Installation and providing Technical Guidance to the System Build Team. Multi-skilled engineers are a real asset to our business and so development across a broad range of skills will be encouraged. Your professional development is equally important to us and you will be fully supported in your chosen professional development and qualifications through IET or IMechE. Our RequirementsMinimum 2.2 honours degree in an Engineering Discipline gained at a UK university. Our preference is for Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Control and Systems or Electro/Mechanical Engineering Graduates. You will need to have good communication skills, be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate why you are strongly suited to this role. As there will be a requirement to visit customer sites, a full UK driving license will be essential. You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restrictions. Salary£21,000 with 6 monthly reviews during the first 2 years plus a competitive benefits package
