Job Description

We are seeking an HR Advisor to help improve the HR across all areas of the business. This is a brand new role and an exciting opportunity for somebody to set up an HR function with the long term focus of continued business success. This position is based near Southampton, Hampshire.

Hours

This is a part time position with a great deal of flexibility in the days and number of hours worked.

Salary

£27,000 - £32,000 per annum, pro-rata depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

In this brand new role reporting to director level there will be a lot of scope for you to determine your own priorities within the following broad remit of responsibilities:

Provide full range of HR support to the management team

Implementation and continuous improvement of policies and processes to promote learning & development, communication and employee engagement throughout the company

Ongoing development of all employment policies and contracts in accordance with UK legislation

Advise and manage the recruitment process

Advise and manage attendance, disciplinary, grievance and harassment cases

Other HR related activities that fall within your capabilities

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills

It is essential that you are CIPD qualified to graduate level with previous Generalist HR experience at HR Advisor level

Good all round IT skills and proficiency in MS Office Products and HR database software are also essential
