As an essential part of our strategy to continually develop the skill base within our company, we are looking for an Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our team.

The Opportunity

This opportunity will ideally suit an ambitious and enthusiastic engineer who has recently graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering or similar.

From day one you will be working within a team with real responsibilities and you will be encouraged to develop your technical skills through various on-the-job learning experiences. You will be supported by a small but hugely experienced multi-disciplined team of engineers.

You will be expected to contribute ideas and become proactively involved in current projects from an early stage. Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Electrical Controls Design
  • PLC Software Design
  • HMI and Robot Programming
  • Commissioning
  • On-site Installation and Customer Acceptance
  • Provision of Technical Guidance to the System Build Team

Multi-skilled engineers are a real asset to our business and so the development of Mechanical Design, 3D Modelling and Robot Simulation skills will also be encouraged.

Your professional development is equally important to us and you will be fully supported in your chosen professional development and qualifications through IET.

Our Requirements

Minimum 2:2 degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline gained at a UK university. Graduates should have a strong knowledge of electrical principles along with a proven interest in controls and/or automation.

Over time this role will become customer facing, and therefore you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to be self-motivated ambitious and be able to demonstrate why you believe you are strongly suited to this role.

As there will be a requirement to visit customer sites, a full UK driving licence will be essential.

It is a prerequisite that all candidates have the right to live and work in the UK on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.


Salary range £23,000 to £25,000 with 6 monthly reviews during the first 2 years plus paid overtime, profit related bonus scheme, pension scheme, life cover and 25 days holiday.
