|Electrical Engineer / Control Panel Wireman|
This is an interesting and exciting career opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with experience of Wiring and Assembly of Automation Equipment or Industrial Machines. This position is based near Southampton, Hampshire with some visits to customer sites throughout the UK.

You will have a varied and interesting role in the Robot System Build Team with a diverse range of responsibilities, including Electrical Control Panel Build, Wiring of Robot Control Systems, Mechanical Assembly of robot cells, Mechanical Fitting of peripheral devices, Wiring and Piping of welding fixtures and Robot Service Work with an opportunity to learn Robot Programming as you progress in this role.
This position is based at our premises in Southampton with some travel to customer sites throughout the UK and you should be prepared to stay away overnight on average 2-3 nights per month (car provided and expenses paid). There is also a requirement for some weekday and weekend overtime working.
Required Skills and Experience
As an Electrical Engineer/System Build Engineer it is essential that you have an Electrical Engineering background within an industrial environment and that you have previous experience of wiring Automation Equipment or Industrial Machines.
You will have gained a minimum of 5 GCSE's grades A - C (or equivalent) and have completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship along with recognised City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications.
