This is an interesting and exciting career opportunity for an Electrical Technician or a Control Panel Wireman with experience of industrial Machine Wiring or Control Panel Build. This position is based near Southampton, Hampshire with some visits to customer sites throughout the UK.

Salary

£18,000 - £25,000 plus paid overtime and annual profit related bonus.

Key Responsibilities

You will have a varied and interesting role in the Robot System Build Team with a diverse range of responsibilities, including Electrical Control Panel Build, Wiring of Robot Control Systems, Mechanical Assembly of robot cells, Mechanical Fitting of peripheral devices and Robot Service work with an opportunity to learn robot programming as you progress in this role. This position is based at our premises in Southampton with some on-site work at customer sites throughout the UK.

Required Skills and Experience

As an Electrical Technician it is essential that you have an Electrical Engineering background within an industrial environment and that you have previous experience as a Control Panel Wireman or experience of Wiring Automation Equipment.

You will have gained a minimum of 4 GCSE's grades A - C (or equivalent) and have completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship along with recognised City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications.

As long as you have some some basic electrical skills gained in an industrial environment and you are keen to learn you will find this an ideal opportunity to expand your skill set in a technically challenging environment.
