Twin station robot welding cell
This robot welding cell configuration is designed for components with relatively long cycle times. The components are loaded through the swinging doors with no overhead restrictions allowing fork truck or hoist access. A steel arc screen protect the loading operator from arc glare from the opposite station. The operator loads station 1 and initiates the welding cycle before unloading and reloading station two, the robot will then weld both components in succession whilst the operator is free to perform other functions such as manual tacking, leak testing etc.
